After I finished the first issue of CDwORLD I didn't want to think about it for another ten years. But honestly I was really moved by how many people left me their thoughts so I already started brewing some new ideas. In addition, two people told me they would be able to make some cool stuff if there was a second issue. The next issue of CDwORLD inprint will be a winter issue and will have two features (hopefully) that are collaborations. This is awesome as I will be able to focus on doing the regular pages like the out and upcoming releases, the quizzes, and the horoscope.
I also realized that keeping submissions open way late into the summer was actually a good thing. I got more submissions and there were many album announcements that were actually done very late into the summer. I'll probably get the bulk of the work done before December but keep all the submitted material for after the 20th.
The vague theme of this entry is 'celebration, parties, and turning a new leaf'. As if we're hitting another millennium. So keep that in mind if you're making a submission. By the way if you run a music site or blog, or if you know one that's good, email me ahead as I'd love to feature it in my zine.
Here's a small break down of what it will probably look like and what the deadlines will be.
